The Specialization in English and Translation will focus on English Language in its formal, educational and social dimensions, enabling students to improve their knowledge and prepare themseves for research in English. Besides a deeper study in the language, professional development will also be promoted in teaching, translating, interpreting and all areas involving the English language. Opportunities will arise to recycle theoretical knowlege, reflect linguistic and methodological issues through reading, discussions and creative presentations that will demonstrate an ability to analyze and evaluate the problems approached.
