It boasts a wide range of live music clubs and dance venues which offer different entertainment every night of the week.Due to its unique cultural mix including African, Haitian, French and Spanish influences, and its geographical location on the southeast coast of the island, Santiago has a very relaxed, tropical atmosphere. You can explore most of the city by foot and venture further afield to the Sierra Maestra mountains, nearby beaches or small islands without much effort.
