In Valledupar, a city located in northern Colombia, every year on the 28 of April until the 2 of May the biggest party and cultural event in the country takes place...a unique festival due to the fact that it is the only city in Colombia and maybe the world that awards a crown to a 'king' of the acordion (the principal instrument of Vallenato music)...

Every year the contestents present their best performance on the accordion, competing with their peers back and forth with verses and "piquerias" that demonstrate their technical ability and musicality. The Festival Vallenato is also a celebration of Colombian culture and the romance and fire of the diverse and distinctly Colombian Vallenato musical style. It's a festival that brings many people in the country together, as well as attracting visitors from all over the world.

Due to the quantity of people that come to the city for the festival, housing is often limited.

It's for that reason that we are offering an alternate solution...for people who are lovers of music and in particular Vallenato music, and for those curious few who are coming for the first time. It doesn't matter where you are from...come and enjoy the 42nd annual Vallenato Festival with us!!!

En Valledupar ciudad ubicada al norte de Colombia, cada año del 28 abril al 2 de mayo se celebra la mas grande fiesta de concursos de Colombia.. una fiesta muy distinguida debido a que es la unica ciudad de Colombia y quiza del mundo en que se corona a un rey unicamente por su talento demostrado con el acordeon, (principal instrumento de la musica vallenata)... cada año los concursantes hacen su mejor demostracion con el acordeon rivalizando a sus compañeros de concurso con versos y "piquerias"... un festival que congrega muchas personas de Colombia y tambien de otros paises.. debido a la gran cantidad de personas que llegan a esta temporada de festival vallenato el hospedaje se hace insuficiente.. y es por eso que ofrecemos alternativas de solucion para personas amantes de este genero musical y tambien a curiosos que vienen por primera vez... no importa de donde eres.. disfruta de la version 42 del Festival Vallenato...
