- Course Description:
Course content
The course contains an intensive core of English which includes work on the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, along with citizenship. The course also includes numeracy and IT and the opportunity to study a vocational taster such as computer graphics, business or science. You will also receive tutorial support with careers education and guidance. You will follow an enrichment programme and produce a student magazine.
Work experience on course
A 1 or 2 week work placement during the course. This is to help you decide on the kind of job you would like in the future.
After this course
An ESOL vocational course; a mainstream course; or ESOL Preparation for Work/Study Level 1.
This course aims to improve specifically the English language fluency of lower intermediate level ESOL students aged 16 to 18.
Entry requirements No formal entry qualifications but you will be asked to take an assessment.
